Grant was appointed Managing Director in December 2022 and was originally appointed as Chief Executive Officer in December 2008. Grant has served on various industry and Government bodies including nine years on the Tourism Industry Aotearoa Board including periods as Chair and Deputy Chair. Grant was also a co-Chair for the New Zealand Government’s Tourism Futures Taskforce in 2020. Grant was awarded the CEO of the Year award at the New Zealand Deloitte Top 200 awards in 2023.
Grant’s background includes senior executive roles across the tourism, hospitality, gaming and retail industries, where he held Director and general management roles within the retail sector before moving into tourism. Grant holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Victoria University and has completed executive studies at the Insead Advanced Management Programme in Fontainebleau and Monash University, Melbourne Australia. Outside of thl, Grant is on the Board of Les Mills Holdings NZ.
Luke moved into the Executive Director role as part of the merger between thl and Apollo Tourism & Leisure in December 2022. In 2001, Luke was appointed as CEO and Managing Director of Apollo Tourism & Leisure Ltd, when he took over the management control of the business his parents founded, with his brother Karl. Luke led Apollo through a strong growth period, expanding internationally into New Zealand, USA, Canada, United Kingdom and Europe. Luke’s entrepreneurial mindset helped the business make a number of strategic acquisitions that delivered strong financial performance. Luke continued to drive Apollo forward to become a global RV solution.
Cameron was appointed Chief Financial Officer in May 2024. Cameron has held Executive roles for over 20 years, most recently he was CFO at NZX-listed company Scott Technology.
Prior to that, Cameron held several senior financial and commercial leadership roles with large, listed companies and co-operatives in both the UK and New Zealand. This includes Chief Financial Officer for Alliance Group, a $2bn farmer-owned Red Meat co-operative. Other prior roles include Chief Financial Officer/General Manager Corporate Services for Brand Developers Ltd, Australasia’s leading Direct Response Television company, and Commercial Finance Manager Sales and Marketing for Fonterra Brands.
Stacey moved into this role as part of the merger between thl and Apollo Tourism & Leisure in December 2022. Prior to this, Stacey oversaw all rental operations across Australia and New Zealand for Apollo Tourism & Leisure Ltd. With just under 20 years’ experience in the RV rental industry, Stacey was responsible for Apollo’s ANZ branch network – implementing process improvement, fleet management, ancillary revenue management and vehicle scheduling. In that role, Stacey also led a number of initiatives including the end-to-end guest experience and ongoing product innovation.
Joining thl in 2006 as an Operations Manager, Chris has had a variety of roles in our manufacturing businesses. Most recently he spent 3 years as Chief Operations Officer for Action Manufacturing before taking on the role of CEO in March 2021. Chris also holds roles as an Executive Director of Action Manufacturing (2017) and SEVA Australasia (2016). Chris has an extensive background in Manufacturing and Vehicle Design across a wide range of industries, including 10 years in Aviation, and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from Waikato University.
Kristen moved into this role as part of the merger between thl and Apollo Tourism & Leisure in December 2022. In 2017, Kristen joined CanaDream (a subsidiary of Apollo Tourism & Leisure Ltd) as Financial Controller. Kristen is a Chartered Accountant with 15 years’ experience in a variety of finance roles. Kristen was appointed President of North America for Apollo in November 2019 and led all commercial business operations in the North American region in that role.
As Chief People & Transformation Officer, Ollie is a key leader in setting business model direction, creating an effective operating model, and providing support services to the business. Ollie first joined thl in October 2017, having previously been Chief Commercial & Customer Officer, and lead for the post-merger integration of thl and Apollo. Prior to joining thl, Ollie spent 10 years in consulting services and business start-up. This included leading iris Worldwide’s consulting offering in Shanghai, Atlanta, and New York, and various positions with Deloitte Strategy & Operations in Auckland and Chicago. Ollie holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland.
Scott moved into this role as part of the merger between thl and Apollo Tourism & Leisure in December 2022. Prior to this, Scott was Chief Operating Officer at Apollo Tourism & Leisure Ltd, responsible for both rental and retail operations globally, with a focus on guest experience, maximising revenue through yield management and fleet optimisation, process improvement and overseeing sales, both direct and agent business globally. Prior to joining Apollo in late 2010, Scott held management positions at Dreamworld and also held previous roles with thl.
Joining thl in February 2015, Steve was appointed to the role of Deputy CFO in September 2020. Steve is responsible for leading the group’s finance function, including internal audit, tax, and management and statutory reporting. His previous experience includes 5 years of group consolidation and external reporting in the banking industry at Westpac New Zealand and HSBC Group in London, and 5 years of external audit experience at Deloitte. Steve is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and holds a Bachelor of Management Studies with Honours, and Graduate Diploma in Statistics from the University of Waikato.
Matt started with thl in April 2010 as Commercial Operations Manager and progressed through to the role of National Operation Manager for NZ Rentals in January 2012. In August 2013 Matt moved across to Melbourne and led the Australian Operations team. Matt was Vice President of El Monte RV from July 2017 prior to returning to NZ and taking up the position of GM NZ Operations from April 2018 through to September 2020 when Matt moved to COO NZ.
Matt’s background includes a number of operation management roles within the SkyCity Group in New Zealand and financial analyst roles within the Gaming industry in London. Matt holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Auckland University.
Jo started at thl in August 2021 in the role of Chief Technology Officer responsible for leading and maintaining thl’s global IT operations and continuing the development, implementation and growth of thl’s bespoke modern booking, pricing, fleet management and telematics products. Jo brings over 20 years digital experience to thl having gained a broad range of IT and leadership experience across publicly listed companies, web start-ups and software development companies within NZ and UK. Jo holds a Bachelor of Business Studies and Graduate Diploma in Business Studies from Massey University
Kate assumed the role of COO North America as of 1 August 2024, overseeing both the US and Canadian rentals and sales operations. Prior to this, from December 2022, post-merger with ATL, she was Chief People and Capability Officer, leading the people space globally. And, from 2017 to 2022, she was Chief Operating Officer – Australia. Kate has held several other roles within the company, joining the executive team in November 2009 as General Manager Marketing and Customer Experience and assuming responsibility for Group Revenue for the self-drive experience businesses, and overall responsibility for marketing and sales channels in April 2014. Kate holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business from Auckland University.
Joining thl in 2015, Nick brings a wealth of motorhome and tourism experience to the company. Having worked for Xerox and Ericsson in both New Zealand and the UK, Nick then moved in to tourism, managing resorts in Austria, Greece and Corsica. Nick started Just go motorhomes in 2003 and remains a passionate Managing Director. Just go operates the largest fleet of motorhomes for hire in the UK and aims to provide clients with a great beginning to end holiday experience. Nick’s flair for travel continually inspires new ideas and his love of technology helps to keep our motorhomes at the very forefront of the industry. If he gets a spare minute, Nick loves cycling and also has a keen interest in sailing, having competed in the Fastnet yacht race in 2013.
Juhi joined thl in December 2020 and is responsible for leading the group Risk and Sustainability functions, including thl’s commitment to the Future-Fit Business Benchmark.
She has over 15 years’ experience in delivering sustainability strategies and supply chain projects in the UK and internationally and has worked with clients across a variety of sectors including luxury, fashion, retail, film, theatre, events and sports. Previously in NZ Juhi was Sustainability Lead at energy company Vector Ltd and Fuji Xerox NZ.
Juhi is a co-founder of Moonshot:City – a think-tank and podcast series exploring regenerative cities – and is Chair of the Battery Industry Group (B.I.G.) which is designing a circular product stewardship scheme for large batteries. She sits on the Government Advisory Group for the new NZ National Waste Strategy and the WasteMINZ Product Stewardship Sector Group. Juhi holds a B.Com (Hons) from the University of Edinburgh and has completed a Master’s course on Strategies for Sustainability Management from Harvard Extension School.
